The Melbourne OBA (Vic Inc.) proudly presents their annual musical show 'Ghana Mazhai' together with Dinner on Saturday, the 3rd November 2012. It will be held at The Youth Hall, Hungarian Community Centre, 760 Boronia Road, Wantirna, Victoria, Australia 3152. Mr.Shiva Pasupati will be the Chief Guest.

Ghana Mazhai, the annual musical show, and dinner have been organized by the Jaffna Hindu College Old Boys Association Victoria in aid of Jaffna Hindu College Fund Program. A souvenir also will be released on the day. Last year's Ghana Mazhai was an overwhelming success, and had been a great evening of entertainment.
Jaffna Hindu College Fund Program is an initiative by the Jaffna Hindu College Old Boys Association Victoria to support the school development programmes. While helping for a good cause, this event is also an opportunity to meet and greet friends and share the golden memories of the college days.
The organizers welcome all the old boys, their families, and well-wishers for Ghana Mazhai 2012 too, and make Ghana Mazhai 2012 a grand success.
The Chief Guest of the evening Mr.Shiva Pasupati is a distinguished old boy of Jaffna Hindu College. After completing his secondary education in JHC, he had continued to the University of Ceylon to do a degree in Law. Mr.Shiva Pasupati also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Law at the University of Cambridge. Mr.Shiva Pasupati is an Appointed President’s Counsel (known as Queen’s Counsel, previous to Sri Lanka becoming a Republic). He appeared in the Privy Council and the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in several Constitutional Law cases and important cases before the Full Bench of the Supreme Court. In Sri Lanka, he had held the positions of Director of Public Prosecutions, Solicitor- General and finally Attorney-General from 1975 to 1988 (the longest period any one has served in that capacity).
Mr.Shiva Pasupati is a Past President of the Jaffna Hindu College OBA (Colombo). During his tenure, he obtained a grant of Rs.1 Million from the President’s Fund for the Science Block of Jaffna Hindu College.
